Confirm the playing specification
A full-size 12ft snooker table is a system: slate thickness and jointing, cushion profile, pocket geometry, frame rigidity and leveling all affect play. Ask suppliers to define the complete specification rather than quote only an overall size.
Plan the room and installation route
Check playing clearance, cue length, doorway width, stairs, elevators and floor loading before shipment. A good supplier should help prepare an installation and handling plan.
Protect the table in transit
Export packing should separate finished components, protect slate edges, control movement inside the crate and provide a clear packing list. Photograph the packed components before loading.
